Absa Group is one of South Africa's 'big four' banks and one of Africa's largest financial-services groups. Formerly part of Barclays Africa, it offers retail, business, corporate and investment banking, plus wealth and insurance products, across South Africa and a dozen-plus African markets. Its brands include Absa's everyday banking, cheque and credit-card products, home and vehicle finance, and the corporate and investment bank.
